UNILIT 47 (DOMUS Pan)

BIO-ECOLOGICAL BONDING LAYER

DESCRIPTION

UNILIT 47 is an adhesive material, developed for bio-ecological” engineering.  UNILIT 47 is a blend of natural hydraulic lime, an selected aggregates with a maximal grain size of 0.5 mm.  The product is characterized by a high vapour diffusion capacity, elasticity and bonding strength.

APPLICATION

UNILIT 47 is developed to (re)glue thermal insulation tiles and panels.  The product can also be used as bonding layer on top of the tiles, on which a compatible finish can be applied.

TECHNICAL PROPERTIES

Grain size                                                      0 to 0.5 mm

Proportion water/Unilit 47                              0.2 l/kg

Density of the mortar                                     1550 kg/m³

Tensile strength                                              > resistance of standard tiles

Elasticity                                                        4500 N/mm²

Vapour diffusion resistance                               µ = 12

pH                                                                  > 10.5

Fire classification                                             non-flammable

                                                                      (class M0)

Storage                                                           6 months

PREPARATION

The product can either be mixed manually or mechanically at low rotation speed.  Clean water has to be added until a smooth mixture is obtained.

Gluing : apply an adequate amount of UNILIT 47 on the borders of the tiles, at 4 or 5 spots.  The total consumption of the mortar should be 4 to 5 kg/m².

Bonding layer : spread out UNILIT 47 on the fixed and dry panels.  Eventually a fibreglass armament can be inserted, on which a new layer of UNILIT 47 can be applied, to obtain a homogeneous layer.

PACKING

25 kg bags.
