DESCRIPTION

Corical is a lime paint with a traditional and flat look, which can be applied by brush or paint roller.

CORICAL is suitable for application inside as well as outside, and is best used on mineral backgrounds such as lime plastering, lime paint, brick and stone.

The very characteristic qualities of CORICAL make it extremely suited for use in the restoration of historical buildings and structures such as palaces, museums, mansions, etc… allowing vapour permeability from the background and strong adhesion.

CORICAL lime paints can also be applied without any problem unto modern materials and backgrounds that have previously been treated with a contemporary or synthetic pain (except oil paints).  In these cases, an extra coat of stabilizing CORIFONDO has to be applied.

CORICAL is ideal for marble imitations, special finishing techniques, etc…

CORICAL is a pure lime paint, and has natural anti-fungal, bactericidal, and disinfectant properties and good resistance against acid rain.

COMPOSITION

CORICAL is composed of very mature lime putty combined with inorganic oxides and very fine crushed quartz marble dust.

APPLICATION

CORICAL is applied on clean and stable substrates that are free of all traces of oil, grease, salts, etc…

Old flaking or instable substrates should first be brushed down and fixated with CORIFONDO.  This goes for any synthetic support.  CORIFONDO is to be diluted with 50 to 100% of water, depending on the absorption by the substrate.

CORICAL is diluted with 20 to 50% of water, again depending on the absorption by the substrate and the hygroscopicity of the air.

The paint can be applied by brush or paint roller, in 2 or 3 coats.

Avoid applying CORICAL in conditions of wind or direct sunshine, and were temperatures below 5°C or above 30°C are expected.

PACKING AND STORAGE

CORICAL is packed in plastic buckets of 5 or 15 litres.

CORICAL should be stored in a dry, cool place, with temperatures above 5°C.

SAFETY

CORICAL irritates the skin and the eyes.  In case of contact: immediately rinse abundantly with water and consult a doctor.

CORICAL has to be kept out of the reach of children.
